Overview
Zaloka cottage is a comfortable, attractive holiday home in beautiful surroundings and a unique location. The location is designated as protected landscape. From the highway you drive through Trebnje and Mirna and beautiful landscape to Zaloka. The last four of the approximately 15 km your hostess will be guiding you.
The house is equipped with every comfort for four people. A spacious living room with luxury kitchen, two bedrooms with one double and one with twin beds, two bathrooms, terraces for every hour of the day and a beautiful view, provide the basis for a wonderful and peaceful holiday. From the living room there is a sliding door to the terrace and the bedrooms have patio doors leading to balcony across the width of the house.
There is satellite TV, DVD player with a small film library, stereo with CD collection, games and a well stocked bookcase.
The immediate area offers many opportunities for walking and surprising discoveries. From the house you can walk straight into the nature. Zaloka is also a good base for further excursions because you are in the heart of Slovenia, the Dolenska (the lovely) and special tourist sights are within your reach.
In the house are walking routes, suggestions for excursions, etc. ready for you.

Price
This house is for rent from June 16th until September 11th.
The rent is € 450.00 per week.
Additional costs: € 50.00 for final cleaning and guidance to the house from prearranged location. € 7.50 p.p.p.w. Linen and towels.
The gardener comes once a week to take care of the garden, patio and lawn.
Surrounding area
The surrounding area consists of low mountains with beautiful valleys and rolling hills to about 900m high. The house stands at 530m height and in clear weather, there are views to the coastal mountains. The landscape is decorated with ancient castles, churches, rustic villages, vineyards, meadows, brooks and quiet forests where deer can lead to unexpected encounters. They can also regularly be seen around the house.
Marked and unmarked trails traverse the area.
Slightly further away (within a radius of 25 km) lies the cozy town of Novo Mesto, the rustic Žužemberk, the spa-Dolenjskje Toplice and spectacular nature.
Also easily accessible are the capital Ljubljana, the caves of Postonja (must see) and even the Slovenian coast including the picturesque town of Piran.
The nearest places (Sent Rupert, Mirna and Trebnje) offer everything you need for your stay. From local grocer to large supermarkets, well-regulated health care and a variety of restaurants ranging from the good, but cheap farm restaurant to restaurants in the more expensive segment.
Location
The house is located near the hamlet Zaloka and falls under the municipality Sent Rupert. From Ljubljana, follow the E70/A2 towards Zagreb. From Trebnje it's in the direction of Sevnica. You will receive detailed directions when booking.
