Overview
Our house is situated in the quiet village of Zekovec, 4 km from Mozirje and 100 meters from the ski gondola to the ski center "Golte". From the house and the terrace you have stunning views of the Dobrovle mountains and the Savinja valley. It is south facing, so you're assured of sunshine!
The house is situated on a hill with a 1500m2 garden with various fruit trees and berry bushes from which you may steal some fruit whenever you feel like it. The holiday home has a large modern kitchen with cozy dining area and is equipped with all mod cons. The living room is modern and features a small fireplace. See photos.
Downstairs is a bathroom with toilet, sink and washing machine.
The large master bedroom with double bed is on the first floor, adjacent to the bathroom with shower and a large balcony overlooking the valley.
The second floor has two bedrooms, one with balcony. Both bedrooms have twin beds. All bedrooms have wardrobes.
On the covered terrace is a large table with benches for eight people so you can enjoy the quiet and beautiful nature around the house. For a BBQ or roasting chestnuts you'll find a covered BBQ with sufficient fuel material.
The house has central heating and is ideal for a wonderful ski holiday.
There is a carport on the premises so you can park your car free of snow.

High season: from 12 December2011 to 3- Maart-2012 and 9 Juny 2012 to 8-9-12: € 450
Low season: 3 Maart 2012 to 9- Juny 2012 and afther 8 September 2012: € 350
Prices are for 4 people, if there are more, the extra costs are € 50 p.p.p.w. For hire of bed and bath linen, if so desired, the costs are € 7,50 p.p.p.w. This will be changed weekly. End cleaning € 40.
Surrounding area
From our village, there are wonderful walks and cycle tours. Bike hire is in town. The gondola takes you to the plateau of Golte in a short time, where you will find well marked hiking trails for both experienced hikers and families with children. Mountainbikers can indulge in the mountainous area. By car you can drive to the Alpine Garden at 1050m altitude, where you can admire the collection of plants from all over Slovenia. For the adventurous traveler, there is still paragliding, rafting, caving or kayaking on the Savinja. After these efforts, one might need a little relaxation? There are numerous thermal spa's where you can swim and enjoy being pampered. Topolsica and Therme Dobrna are 15 minutes away by car. For families with children Therme Lasko is an ideal day out with beautiful pools, slides, etc.
A little culture? The capital Ljubljana and beautiful Maribor are great day trips, as well as the Postojna caves, the famous Lipica horse-stables, the beautiful lake Bled and lake Bohinj and the pirate town of Piran on the coast. If you prefer to stay closer to home then all of the following come highly recommended: the nature park of Logarska Dolina, Celje, the motor museum in Vransko, an underground mine museum in Velenje, the cave Jama Pekel and Necropolis in Sempeter.
Location
In Zekovec you can buy fresh milk, eggs and honey directly from the farmer. , For your other shopping you can go to Mozirje where there are three supermarkets and a bakery.
On arrival you will be welcomed by the owners.
