Overview
Our holiday house lies on the south side of the Menina mountain range with a beautiful view of the valley. It has a south facing balcony and a big terrace. From our house you can roam freely into the woods. Ljubno is the closest town where you can do all your shopping. The house does not have central heating, so it is not appropriate for renting in the wintermonths.

Surrounding area
The Savinja and Dreta valley are excellent hiking and cycling areas with several sights, like the icecave on the Raduga mountain, the nature reserve 'Logarska Dolina' and the cathedral and museum in Gornji Grad. Ljubljana and Maribor (the two university towns) can be reached within the hour. The postojna caves and the Lipizaner horses are a bit over an hour away.

Location
The holiday chalet Savina-Hiska Alec is 20 minutes from the town of Ljubno on the sunny southside of the hill. The house is surrounded by forrest and magnificent views. It is the ideal location for a relaxed holiday. In the valley you will find several restaurants where you can eat pizza or freshly caught trout for an excellent price (€10). In Mozirje, which is little bit further away, you will find 3 big supermarkets for all your needs.
