Overview
The completely new wooden holiday home Rai Roznik lies on the southside of the mountain. There is a lovely view from the terrace of the Savinja Valley with the villages of Mozirje, Loke and Nazarje and the Savinja river. The house has a modern living/dining room with an open kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with toilet. The modern sofa pulls out into a sofa bed and can accommodate another 2 people. The kitchen has all mod cons. The big terrace is south facing and has a barbecue and nice garden furniture. There is ample room for parking in the private parking lot. This accommodation offers a lot of peace and quiet.
The owner lives a bit lower on the same terrain and gives horseriding lessons. There is wireless internet for the guests.
Nearby Mozirje offers 3 supermarkets with a modern assortment. There are also a few restaurants and pubs with local delicacies for an attractive price.

The rent for this beautiful house is €350 for 2012, including bath- and bedlinen. Additional costs are the end cleaning (€35) and tourist tax (€1 pppn).
Surrounding area
Mozirje lies very central within Slovenia. Lubljana, Bled, Maribor and Ptuj are all within reach (by car). The coast, Zagreb (Croatia) and Trieste (Italy) take about 2 hours to reach. The Savinja Valley is 45 km deep and ends in a border to Austria, over the Southern Alps. The other end of the valley offers the beautiful Logarska Dolina national park, for splendid hikes through untouched nature. In the holiday periods there are several villages in the Savinja Valley that offer traditional festivities like the Flosserskiball in Ljubno and deveral farmers markets with the unique Zelodec- Salami, Honey and Cheese and several alcoholic specialties like Borovnica (blueberry liqueur), Medica (honey liqueur) and Visnje schnaps (wild cherry liqueur). In the whole valley there are lots of little restaurants offering the Savinja trout.
The Savinja Valley is great for long hikes or cycle trips on the many quiet byroads and forest paths.
Location
The holiday home lies in Brezje, 10 minutes walk from Mozirje. The cities of Velenje and Celje are within half an hour away by car. Both towns have a castle with a museum. The Celje castle hosts Knight games and musical performances in the summer. The Mine museum in Velenje and the ice cave in Luce are also worth seeing. There are various Catholic churches and the Cathedral in Gornji Grad that can be visited upon request.
