Overview
A short distance from the village of Zekovec lies the detached cottage "Eko Hiska", partly hidden among the trees. The house can be reached via a gravel driveway of 500 meters. The gondola starts in the village and ends on the slopes with its beautiful restaurant, ski rental and ski school for adults and children. Golte is a perfect ski resort, especially for novice skiers.
For summer guests this is an ideal place to start walks in the surrounding forests. The wonderful sunshine can be enjoyed throughout the day, all around the house. It is adviced to change your scenery regularly by chosing a different terrace to sit on, and apply your suntan lotion liberally! The large trees also provide shaded areas. Zekovec is located 4 km from the small town of Mozirje with all the amenities needed for a carefree holiday. You can access free internet in the local library, a health center where they can go 24 hours a day and three supermarkets including an Aldi.
On the ground floor you will find a hallway with a bathroom with shower and bath. There is a large living room with dining area - kitchen and a storage room for skis and luggage. Upstairs are three double bedrooms and and a single bedroom. One of the two double bedrooms has a balcony.

These prices exclude bed, bath and kitchen linen, which can be rented for €3.50 pp. Excluding € 50 end cleaning and tourist tax of € 1 per person per day.
Surrounding area
The winter ski area of Golte is a beautiful hiking area in the summer, with its Alpine garden where all growing trees and plants of Slovenia are brought together. The meadows and woods surrounding the house are free to enter. You will not encounter any angry farmers that prohibit you from entering their territories. Rather, the friendly people will invite you for a drink or Tokat (apple cider) from their own distillery. Mozirje is the nearby town where you can do your shopping. The ice cave in Luce, the nature Logarska Dolina and Panorama are sights not to be missed. The Mining Museum and the Castle of Velenje with its museums are worth visiting. The capital Ljubljana with its daily fruit meat and fish markets - bustling student life and many affordable Gostilna's (restaurants) is a well spent day out. Maribor, Bled and Ptuj are attractive towns like Ljubljana reachable within the hour. In the vicinity are many sporting activities available, like mountain biking, horseback riding, parasailing, canoeing, rafting, rock climbing in the mountains, cycling and walking.

Location
This holiday home is about eight hundred meters from the center of Zekovec. The village is 3.5 km from the town Mozirje in the Savinja valley. Mozirje is in the center of Slovenia from which all the sights in Slovenia can be visited on day trips.
